Scott Simpson has eight years experience in private equity,
with a focus on information technology investments.
Mr. Simpson is currently on leave from VECKER to study law
and serve in the United States Navy Judge Advocate
General's Corps. Mr. Simpson will return to VECKER upon
completion of his military service.
Most recently Mr. Simpson was Senior Associate at RockRidge
Capital Partners, an early stage, technology-focused
venture capital firm located in Stamford, CT.
Prior to joining RockRidge, Mr. Simpson was Senior
Associate at Battery Ventures, a venture capital firm with
over $2.0 billion in capital under management across seven
funds. At Battery, Mr. Simpson focused on investments in
the telecommunications, software and infrastructure
markets.
Mr. Simpson graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College
with a B.A. in history. He is currently studying law at The
University of Connecticut. Scott lives in New Haven
Connecticut.
